Myers has been dealing with a sore left wrist all season and his current stay on the DL is his second stint of the season. He has a slash line of .277/.327/.459 with five home runs and 19 RBIs in 35 games.

Myers, traded from the Rays to the Padres in December, had been off the DL for just three days before landing back on the list. Padres bench coach Dave Roberts told the San Diego Union-Tribune that Myers “felt pain attempting to take swings before Sunday’s loss to the Dodgers.”
