There is often a second option too, which enables you to bypass all of that and instantly unlock your desired items by just spending real-world money.
Garena Free Fire is a little different in that respect, as freebies are given away all the time via 12-digit codes, similar to the ones featured in Dead by Daylight. These entitle you to unlock things like character skins, weapon variants and even diamonds (a resource that can itself be used to buy other rewards in the game).
The best part is that you don’t even have to do anything special to discover these codes. They aren’t locked behind in-game challenges or missions, and you can redeem them at any time as long as they haven’t expired. You just need to know the relevant characters to input.
Of course, that’s the difficult bit as there are certain restrictions that might prevent you from using a given code. For instance, they are all region specific, meaning that you can’t use European or Asian codes on a North American server.
Plus, they do expire after a certain period of time has elapsed, or if too many people have already used them. As such, the list of codes we published in January is likely obsolete by now.

How To Redeem ‘Garena Free Fire’ Codes
If you have an active Garena Free Fire profile set up (which you need to play the mobile game in the first place), then you can redeem the above codes by navigating to https://reward.ff.garena.com.
Once you are on that page, you will need to sign into your account by either your login credentials or linking to one of your relevant social media profiles.
From there, you will be taken to a page where you can input the codes. You don’t even need to manually type them out, as you can just copy and paste them into the text boxes. Doing so will automatically segment the codes into four-digit clusters using hyphens, so you don’t have to worry about the formatting either.
The final step is to just press the orange “Confirm” button directly below the text box. Within the next 24 hours, you should then see the associated rewards appear in your in-game vault.
If you get an error message, this means that the code in question has expired or that you are not on the correct regional server.
