Paratore was playing his second round at Alstom Open de France in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines and was trying to recover from an opening round in which he posted a seven-over-par 78.

Astonishingly, the 18-year-old made a four on all 18 holes, meaning he recorded birdies on the three par fives, but bogeyed each of the four par-three holes.

Unfortunately for Paratore, he is currently eight over for the tournament and some five strokes adrift of the projected cut.

At the end of his round the European Tour posted on their official blog for the tournament that they believe Paratore is the first man to card 18 fours in a single round at a Tour event.
