A wrestling match between Len and Whiteside broke out shortly after Whiteside dunked and Len’s arm came through to his face. Neither player will be suspended.
The penalties were announced today by Rod Thorn, President, Basketball Operations.
Len is averaging 6.5 points and 6.6 rebounds per game this season for the Suns. Whiteside, possibly the NBA’s top breakout performer this season, is averaging 10.8 points and 9.6 rebounds.
