Smith, 26, was arrested in August and later charged with his third DUI in addition to hit-and-run and vandalism. After being released by the 49ers the following month, he signed a one-year, incentive-laden deal with the Raiders that could have been worth up to $8 million. Smith, a 2012 All-Pro selection, has 47.5 sacks in 59 career games.
