Tulowitzki, who was called out looking on a questionable strike in the bottom of the seventh inning, was still upset with home plate umpire John Hirschbeck as he took his defensive position to begin the eighth.

Despite standing nearly 100 feet away, Hirschbeck tossed Tulo, who went into a fit as he was escorted to the Blue Jays’ dugout.

Tulowitzki was 2 for 4 before the ejection, including a three-run homer.
He was replaced at shortstop by second baseman Ryan Goins, while Cliff Pennington took over at second.
Toronto won the game 11-8 and cut its deficit in the series to 2-1. Game 4 will be Wednesday night at Rogers Centre.
