The two-run homer ended Pujols’ 0-for-26 slump, which was the longest of his career. He also doubled his RBI output on the season.

According to MLB.com’s Statcast, the ball left Pujols’ bat at 110 mph and landed at a projected distance of 448 feet away.
Pujols needs seven homers to pass Rafael Palmeiro for 12th place on the all-time home run list and needs 21 long balls to pass Mark McGwire and move into the top 10.
