Morris, a redshirt junior, is from Allen, Texas, less than an hour’s drive east of Denton, where UNT is located.

As a fifth-year senior transfer, Morris would be eligible to play for the Mean Green next season.
Morris was highly recruited coming out of a powerhouse high school program but could not secure the starting job in Tuscaloosa. He has appeared in one game this season, completing his only pass for 6 yards.
