What is AGDQ 2020?
Awesome Games Done Quick is an annual charity event featuring a week-long stream of video game speedrunning. In the gaming community, speedrunning refers to beating games as quickly as possible. So, if you want to see games like Mega Man, Metroid, Mario and Zelda played with an unparalleled level of precision, this is where you’ll find it.
This year AGDQ works to support the Prevent Cancer Foundation with donations from gamers around the world. Over GDQ’s 10 years of operation, the events have raised more than $22 million for worthy causes. With that in mind, we expect donations to exceed $2 million this week alone.
How to watch AGDQ 2020
The best, and more or less only, place to watch AGDQ 2020 as it happens is the Awesome Games Done Quick Twitch channel. Those who miss the biggest speedruns can catch them on demand via the AGDQ YouTube channel.
