According to an affidavit, which was released Monday and obtained by The Wichita Eagle, Randle threatened to kill a detention deputy on May 14 after he refused to let him make a phone call. The deputy had reason not to allow a phone call – another officer gave Randle access to the phones earlier in the day.

When he was denied, the officer says Randle yelled, “I will kill you I swear on my life and everything that I have I will kill you when I get out." The document states the deputy felt threatened by Randle’s words because, “The threat was made in a very aggressive manner.”
Randle is due in court on July 26 on all three of his charges/cases. Over an 18-month period, he was arrested six times. In late February, police accused him of hitting three people with his car after getting into an argument at a housewarming party in southeast Wichita.
