In a YouTube video Wainwright said he finally felt the pain of fantasy owners but only after starting a player in his own NFL fantasy playoffs that missed the game.
“I started Julius Thomas,” said Wainwright. “He didn’t play one snap and so I took a zero in my tight end spot and I started to wonder who in the world would say they’re going to play and they’re not and it’s fantasy football playoffs time! Then I realized that is exactly the same thing that I did my last regular season start of the season. I just want to say to all you fantasy baseball players: I’m sorry.”
