Adam Silver Is Stalking Nba Twitter With A Stealth Account

The Wall Street Journal recently published a fascinating article on the numbers and ideas behind the NBA’s push on social media and how #NBATwitter helps to strengthen the organization’s brand from the outside.

One tidbit that was buried in the story was that Silver is on Twitter, kinda.

“(Silver is following along, too—on a stealth account; He uses the NBA Twitter when he wants to send a tweet.) "

That’s right. Adam Silver is out there on Twitter, perhaps as @DaCommish2014, @SlimReapr, @FakeDavidStern or any of a number of Twitter profiles. He could be “an egg.” Or he could be a passing as a specific team insider.

Its a shame we don’t know what Silver’s Twitter account is. He probably has the best memes.
