As first pointed out by Mark Schofield of soshcentral.com, the discussion came up during a game between the Patriots and Packers. During the Nov. 30 matchup, Jim Nantz and Phil Simms brought up a discussion they had with Aaron Rodgers.

The key to take out of that conversation is Rodgers telling Simms, “I like to push the limit to how much air we can put in the football, even go over what they allow you to do and see if the officials take air out of it.” It’s important to note Rodgers was discussing over-inflating the ball while the Patriots are accused of deflating footballs.

As for the Patriots, ProFootballTalk reports a decision on the deflated ball investigation will take place within the next two to three days.
