ESPN’s Buster Olney reports the deal is expected to be for five years, with the final year being a player option. Pollock could also leave after three seasons.

Pollock, 31, had spent his entire seven-year career with the Diamondbacks before becoming a free agent. He’ll stay within the NL West as he moves to LA.

He hit .257 last year for Arizona with 21 home runs and 65 RBIs. He was named a National League All-Star in 2015.
