Harris County officers made the horrific discovery on Sunday after they received a call from a 15-year-old who said his brother, 9, had been dead for a year inside the Houston apartment he shared with his two other siblings, according to ABC13. Police said they found three boys, aged 15, 10 and 7, inside the home and that the teenager and his siblings appeared to have been abandoned. Officers also said they found skeletal remains that appeared to have been of a young boy and were consistent with what the teenager had told them....

Anticipating a wave of women willing to cross borders to get an abortion, these abortion-friendly states are permitting a string of new clinics to open on their periphery. All that is in defiance of surrounding states that have banned abortion or severely restricted it since Roe v. Wade was overturned June 24, upending a nationwide system of easy access to the procedure. Currently, 12 states have a near-total ban on the procedure; another four have bans at six, 15, 18 or 20 weeks of pregnancy; nine states have pending bans that are being challenged in the courts; another nine states allow abortion with various limits, and 16 states plus the District of Columbia have laws protecting abortion access....

Bader’s sausage dog, named Basil Rathbone, was a great joy in his family life, according to posts on his social media acounts. The dog tragically died in 55-year-old Batman voice actor Bader’s arms on June 2 after suffering with liver cancer.
